Marda Gras

Marda Gras Street Festival

Sunday August 14, 2022 10:00 am - 5:00 pm

Marda Gras is a FREE family-friendly event in the heart of Marda Loop. The longest running street festival in Calgary. Take part in a pedestrian friendly, car-free day with your friends and family – shopping local and reconnecting with the community.

This year, the festival’s focus is on the street! Walk the street and reconnect with your community. There will be four “street performer corners” with a full lineup of music, dance and entertainers. Local businesses and artisans will be there to promote and sell a variety of products and services.

For kids of all ages there will be an exclusive colouring sheet of the Marda Loop neighbourhood, handed out at the Kids Quarter!
